Baxter Construction Moves Headquarters to Hopewell

Hopewell, NJ – Baxter Construction announced it has relocated its main office from downtown Princeton to Hopewell Borough. The move, from one historic community to another, reflects the company’s plan to continue to take part in our region’s growth. Baxter Construction will be a new presence on Broad Street of Hopewell as they renovate their historic 90-year old building and property and become a vested owner in the borough, contributing to the revitalization of the downtown.

“We have been working in the Princeton area, including Hopewell, and are committed to continuing to do so in these historic communities,” said Jim Baxter, owner, Baxter Construction. “We appreciate the opportunities this area has given us over the past 28 years to develop a business with a reputation for excellence.”

Baxter Construction is known for their quality work of distinction in all areas of the building process.  Their notable commercial projects include the Michael Graves Design Studio, Kate Spade and the Walking Company, and the Whole Earth Center store, which received the Sustainable Environmental Leadership Award, in 2008, as the 1st LEED certified commercial project in Princeton. Some of the company’s projects have been of an historic nature. In 2007, they were recognized with significant awards for the historic restoration of the Woodrow Wilson home on Library Place by both the Historical Society of Princeton and the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office.

Baxter Construction’s primary focus continues to be the relationships with their clients and architects on renovations, restorations, additions and new homes.  These services will now be provided from their new location, 31 West Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ.  For information on how Baxter Construction can fulfill your home and commercial building needs, please call (609) 466-3655 or visit their website to view previous projects.
